;; 7 ;; h-hi everyone~ I know it's been a little, erm, BARREN. I've been working and haven't been able to really sit down and do completed works in forever so forgive the lack of updates. I've also kinda just paused a lot on RPs too so forgive me for that also. -screeches again at how horrible I am-

Anyway, this past weekend I went to A-kon and it was super epic since most of my traveling group cosplayed as Gintama and we just walked around buying all the stuff that we could and had a wonderful time. I wished I could do a breakdown on what happened but that would make this journal super duper long and boring, but we did stay at a hotel this time around and my roomies were so ridiculously funny I couldn't keep a straight face most of the three days we were there. I got a crap load of buttons and a whole lot of Tiger & Bunny figure kits because I am still crazy about it and it doesn't help that one of my friends cosplayed as Tiger he's so freakin' adorable omg. We had a little photoshoot in the massive courtyard the hotel had and it was a great feeling surprising people in my Elizabeth cosplay as well. So much fuuuuuun~

I'd like to say that I don't have post-con depression but I'd be lying... I want to go back and take more photos and be in Elizabeth since this will be her last con for a while. My group is gonna do a Tiger and Bunny cosplay group next year and I'm super excited but now I'm like buying all the things I need for Barnaby and I can't contain all these feels omg *convulses* I have to start working out now omg

I wish all of you lovely people a glorious and happy new year and that you all are taking care of yourselves because I have been fighting a sneaky cold that took hold of me since Christmas night. lmaooo This is the first time I've been sick in two years and I'm taking it like a whiny baby, I swear. Let's all remember the weird and good times 2012 has offered us and strive towards an even better 2013. Take chances and keep improving and know I'm always rooting and supporting all of you despite not being here all the time looool. I've managed to find some grunt work money so drawing has been a little... _{minimal oops}. I haven't touched my tablet in a good while and I've forgotten how to color. ;; 7 ;; I got a bunch of sketches but lose motivation to color or line anything so forgive meeeee~

Anyway, let's go towards 2013 with open arms because I will be meeting it with nasty cold virus coughs. *dying*

<sub>YO~ Long time no journal. ;; 7 ;; I was getting really tired of seeing the A-Kon journal taking up so much space on my profile holy crap. lol, anyway I've just about finished (almost) the 5th week of the Fall semester and that means mid-terms are on their way very quickly. GAH. Where has time gone?! alkdjflk But I'm holding in there somewhat well. I kinda have to get my butt back in to gear for I don't want to make any B's as my final grades for the semester since I'll be transferring to a bigger University in the Spring and my GPA could earn me about $4k in transfer scholarship money which could possibly be redeemable for another year and that'd be great. ;; 7 ;; I just have to keep my grades up and look for more scholarships online to hopefully pay for my tuition. I don't want to burden my parents with so much expenses since my dad was recently laid off from his job he's been at for about 20 years, and, I'll be honest here, it stresses me out that I'm not doing much besides going to school and being at home as the jobless/anti-social hobo I am... I get antsy whenever my dad gives me money for stuff I don't really do like getting food. Most people would be happy with that, right??? NOT ME. I DON'T BUY STUFF. WHAT IS FOOD??? //cries and goes off filling a bunch of job applications

*coughs* Putting that aside, since classes have been getting most of my attention I don't really have time to sit down and color a lot of my sketches/lineart that have been piling up for a while now. I have a little color spree whenever there's nothing going on, but not so much lately and that makes me sad. u n u'' But I've been wrestling with this thought for a while now, and I've decided to open $10 sketch commissions. By sketch I mean black/white lineart with just a bit of values just so we're clear. Lol, my pencil sketches usually get eaten up in the scanning process so I might as well do the lineart since that doesn't take very long. The lineart will have more variety to them and will probably have some hatched shading since these are obviously not going to be fully colored.

These sketch commissions can be anything: head-shot, waist-up, full-body, whatever. There isn't many limitations I can think of at the moment, but right now I can only take 3 spots. Payment will be through paypal and please send me a note titled "Commission request" if you are interested so we can discuss details and such. Progress will be posted through this journal, if nothing else. :'D
